The ETFs and Bond Funds Subcommittee held a call on September 24, 2018. The call convened at approximately 4:00 p.m. Eastern. The following Subcommittee members were on the call:

The Subcommittee continued to discuss progress on its potential comment letter to the Commission’s recently proposed ETF rule, recommendation on education and data, and white paper on the operation of investment funds during stressed markets. The Subcommittee plans to finalize the comment letter for circulation to FIMSAC prior to the October meeting. The Subcommittee will plan for the potential recommendation on education and data also to be discussed and voted on during the next FIMSAC meeting. Members will gather scholarly articles to reference in the proposed white paper. The Subcommittee plans to schedule additional calls and to invite speakers, including Commission staff from the Division of Economic and Risk Analysis, to offer feedback to inform the discussion of funds in stressed markets.
