Keep Filing—Enroll in EDGAR Next Now

July 15, 2025

EDGAR filers must be in compliance with the SEC’s EDGAR Filer Access and Account Management rule and form amendments—known as EDGAR Next—as of September 15, 2025 to keep filing uninterrupted on EDGAR. To comply with EDGAR Next, filers must be enrolled (or granted access on Form ID on or after March 24, 2025), and they must authorize individuals to act on their behalf on EDGAR. Filers must further ensure that those individuals present Login.gov individual account credentials and complete multifactor authentication to access EDGAR.

Enroll in EDGAR Next now! Enrollment is a streamlined process for filers to transition to EDGAR Next that does not require presentation of a power of attorney to SEC staff or notarization of documents.

SEC staff encourages filers to enroll rather than submit a Form ID for lost access to EDGAR. If filers have lost the codes needed to enroll or are unsure whether those codes are current, they may consult How Do I Update the Passphrase and CCC to Enroll (and Avoid the Need to Submit Form ID)

Extensive guidance to assist filers in complying with EDGAR Next is available on the EDGAR Next webpage on SEC.gov, including step-by-step enrollment instructions, links to how-to videos and webinars, and answers to frequently asked questions.
