Filing a registration statement

file registration header

Registration statements and other reports must be filed with the SEC using the SEC’s Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis and Retrieval (EDGAR) system. The SEC staff has provided additional guidance for EDGAR filers to make the filing process more efficient.

In general, anyone can see the information and documents your company files by accessing EDGAR on the SEC website. Initial filings as well as filings for most offerings made in the first year after a company has entered the public reporting system can be made on a confidential basis.
