Business Development Company (BDC) Data Sets

Business Development Company (BDC) Data Sets are now available for download. The BDC Data Sets provide the data extracted from disclosures filed by BDCs with the Commission in eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL). The data is sourced from XBRL tagged periodic reports and other disclosures submitted by BDCs to the Commission. The BDC Data Sets provide a schedule of investments report, detailed financial data sets, and a summary non-financial data set.

The BDC data sets are presented in a flat file format to assist users in constructing the data for analysis. The data has been automatically and directly taken from submissions created by the registrants and provided as filed with the Commission. The data sets will be updated monthly.

These and other freely available data sets are accessible in the Data Library created by the Division of Economic and Risk Analysis (DERA). The DERA Data Library provides the public with a central reference location to access all data sets that DERA makes available.
