Sunshine Act Meeting

TIME AND DATE: Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of the Government in the Sunshine Act, Pub. L. 94-409, that the Securities and Exchange Commission will hold an Open Meeting on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.

PLACE: The meeting will be held in Auditorium LL-002 at the Commission’s headquarters, 100 F Street, NE, Washington, DC 20549 and will be simultaneously webcast on the Commission’s website at www.sec.gov

STATUS: This meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. (ET) and will be open to the public. Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Visitors will be subject to security checks. The meeting will be webcast on the Commission’s website at www.sec.gov.

MATTERS TO BE CONSIDERED:

  1. The Commission will consider whether to adopt amendments to the rule under the Investment Company Act of 1940 that addresses investment company names that are likely to mislead investors about an investment company’s investments and risks. The amendments the Commission will consider also include enhanced prospectus disclosure requirements for terminology used in investment company names, as well as public reporting regarding compliance with the new names-related requirements.
