NRSROs: Number of Outstanding Credit Ratings by Rating Category and NRSRO (2024)

This data visualization shows the total aggregate number of outstanding credit ratings by rating category and by NRSRO as of December 31, 2024. There are five rating categories, Financial Institutions, Insurance Companies, Corporate Issuers, Asset-Backed Securities, and Government Securities. As of December 31, 2024, there were 10 credit rating agencies registered as NRSROs: A.M. Best Rating Services, Inc. (AMB), DBRS, Inc. (DBRS), Demotech, Inc. (Demotech), Egan-Jones Ratings Company (EJR), Fitch Ratings, Inc. (Fitch), HR Ratings de México, S.A. de C.V. (HR), Japan Credit Rating Agency, Ltd. (JCR), Kroll Bond Rating Agency, LLC (KBRA), Moody's Investors Service, Inc. (Moody's), and S&P Global Ratings (S&P). Percentages are rounded in the data visualization above and the total of rounded percentages might be slightly off from exactly 100%.
