Stephanie Allen

Ms. Allen served as Acting Director of the Office of Public Affairs from February 2025 to June 2025. Beginning her SEC tenure in 2023, she was previously Director of Media Relations and Speechwriting.

Prior to the SEC, Ms. Allen was the Executive Director of the Ludwig Institute for Shared Economic Prosperity. Before that, she was the Director of Strategic Communications and Marketing at Promontory Financial Group, an IBM Company. After working for two U.S. Senators earlier in her career, she served as speechwriter at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

Ms. Allen received an M.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. from Emory University.
