Overall Qualifying Households under Financial Criteria (1989 - 2022)

This data visualization shows the overall number and percentage of U.S. households that would have qualified as accredited investors under the existing income or net worth criteria applicable to natural persons from 1989 to 2022. We estimate households and not individuals because the database underlying our analysis measures wealth and income at the household level.
