This visualization excludes feeder funds (Form N-MFP Item A.7) and relies on the classification of MMFs as cash management vehicles for affiliated funds or other accounts (Item A.21). Prior to revisions to Form N-MFP effective in 2016, Prime and Tax Exempt MMFs were not required to report whether they were retail or institutional MMFs.
