SEC Announces Dismissal of Civil Enforcement Action Against Ozy Media and CEO Carlos Watson

The Securities and Exchange Commission today filed joint stipulations with Defendants Ozy Media, Inc. and Carlos Watson to dismiss, with prejudice, the Commission’s ongoing civil enforcement action against them.

As stated in the joint stipulations, the Commission’s decision to seek dismissal is “in the exercise of its discretion” and “does not necessarily reflect the Commission’s position on any other case.”
