Confidential Treatment Orders Search

The Commission now releases orders relating to applications for confidential treatment of certain information otherwise required to be included in filed documents. The Divisions of Corporation Finance and Investment Management issue these orders pursuant to delegated authority. EDGAR contains orders issued beginning May 1, 2008. These orders are identified as CT ORDER.

Confidential treatment orders are available through several search methods:

• Enter “CT ORDER” in the Form Type field of the Latest Filings search to view recent orders, if any.
• Use EDGAR Full Text Search by selecting “More Search Options,” choosing “CT ORDER” under “Browse Filing Types,”  using additional search criteria as needed.
• EDGAR Daily and Quarterly indexes list CT Orders by filing date or quarterly period. Consult the Accessing EDGAR Data page for guidance on using index files.
