Many persons and entities mail or otherwise provide to the Divisions of Corporation Finance and Investment Management paper "courtesy copies" of materials that are filed or submitted via EDGAR, email, online form or other electronic method of communication. Registrants often send copies of electronically filed registration statements or marked copies of amendments to registration statements showing changes from previously submitted or filed versions. The Divisions request that paper courtesy copies no longer be sent as a matter of course. Such paper copies should only be furnished at the request of the staff.
