FWRO at CPA Society’s Convergence Conference Event

Members of the Fort Worth Regional Office will speak about a variety of topics at the Dallas CPA Society’s Twelfth Annual Convergence Conference in Dallas on May 27, 2016.

• Fort Worth Director Shamoil T. Shipchandler and Trial Attorney Christopher A. Davis will jointly discuss cybersecurity issues.
• Fort Worth Associate Regional Director Marshall Gandy will update the conference attendees on the SEC’s National Exam Program, including its mission; national and regional priorities; and working with the SEC’s Division of Enforcement.
• Fort Worth Senior Accountant David R. King will participate in a panel discussion of civil securities enforcement and examinations, highlight recent significant financial reporting and disclosure enforcement actions, and discuss the Commission’s whistleblower program.
