SEC to Participate at 24th Annual Government Day at The Villages, Florida

Miami, Oct. 29, 2019 —Representatives from the Miami Regional Office of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission will participate in the 24th Annual Government Day on Nov. 2 at the Eisenhower Recreation Center at The Villages, Florida. Local, state, and federal government agencies will be available to discuss a wide range of topics at this free event.

Representatives from the SEC’s Miami Regional Office will be helping investors learn more about how they can better protect themselves and their hard-earned money from fraudsters and scam artists. Learning how to invest safely can mean a huge difference in retirement years.

Media interviews with SEC officials will be available to assist with stories describing tips to help investors avoid fraud, Ponzi schemes, or other scams.
