In my position as a small in-house transfer agent, I support the proposal to eliminate the requirement that transfer agents for listed companies maintain an office or agent in Manhattan below Chambers Street. I agree with the statement that this requirement is obsolete, and I feel that the cost of conforming to the requirement is excessive and unnecessary.
