To whom it may concern:
As a practicing CFP for more than 16 years, I would like to request that you reconsider the potentially negative impact on the financial services industry of the above referenced bill. It is true that abuses have occurred, but it is my opinion that the proposals you are considering will make DVAs more difficult to obtain for many clients that would benefit substantially from the important benefits of this product.
Please reconsider your position on this matter.
