I am very distressed about pending rules which would allow brokers to pass themselves as financial planners. The broker's conflict of interest is evident , should he/she recommend a product which is good for the client oe the one which pays the most commission? Plus, how is a broker trained to give financial advice? Please do not allow brokers to act as advisors.
