I strongly urge the SEC to WITHDRAW, not merely amend, the rule proposal in file number S7-25-99. All individuals and organizations that provide investment advisory services to the public should be held to the same high standard. To do otherwise is an affront to the integrety of the entire securities industry and the citizens it serves. The fact that the SEC has allowed various organizations to take advantage of the proposed rule for such a long time strikes me as a flagrant disregard of the SECs responsibility.
