The forms appear simple enough and supply the information in what I feel is clear terms. It puts into hard numbers what I knew was happening but could only guess at the time. Im a little older and a little smarter now. The information provided would have been and still is very useful when we were younger and purchasing these instruments early on in our careers.
I regret you are forced to to do things like this in that my wife and I are personally swamped with paper from our investing firms which includes a brokerage firm, insurance companies and mutual funds. Much of it is mandated and, although the intention of supplying it is understandable, the reams of reading material can be overwhelming. It seems also you have to be a well versed lawyer or accountant to get through most of them in terms of the verbiage.
