I think all fees or posible fees should be disclosed by
mutual funds and anyone selling mutual funds. It is a big
mystery as to how much an investor pays to a mutual fund
even with regular statements. I think a dollar and cent
figure should be included with statements as to how much
you have paid for management fees. That would be very easy
for fund companies to do.
But I think its much more important for third parties to
disclose their fees because they do not provide a prospectus
of their plan as do the mutual fund cos. I think the public
has a right to know. It is more important than ever since
working people must depend more on their investments now
for their retirement savings.
Thanks for letting me express my opinion.
