I recently moved to Edwards, CO and was discussing Mutual Fund investments with an invesment advisor. Hesuggested to but all my investments about600,000,into Washington
mutual Funds.When I asked wha the load was, he said he didnt know. After reading the information I discovered very easily the loads were 5. This would have been 30,000 in loads.
I found it very difficult to believe this advisor didnt know what he was to make on such a transaction. I did not follow his advise.
I think these advisors should be upfrount on fees charged.
