I believe that raising net worth minimums for hedge funds would result in a reduction in the availability of suitable investment opportunities for a large number of intellegent investors. By limiting these opportunities, you would be subjecting millions of Americans to the right to obtain investment returns which would then only be available to the wealthy.
I would welcome oversight reviews by regulatory bodies to ensure proper operation of these funds. Much like the mutual fund industry.
I request that these proposed requlations regarding raising of the minimum net worth requirements not be enacted into low.
