I am opposed to the proposed rule that would raise the minimum net worth requirement needed to invest in private funds on the grounds that it will further limit the investment opportunities available to the vast majority of American citizens. To quote John Mauldin, Americans should not be relegated to second class status when it comes to investment choices based solely upon their income and wealth without consideration of their abilities.
