I believe that hedge funds, with resonable regulation, should be available to all citizens. Investment sophistication is not necessarily limited to high net worth individuals. With proper regulation, even marginally sophisticated investors could have advisors to help with understanding these complex investments. The key to consumer protection is transparency and disclosure, not limitation and exclusion.
