The adoption of Fair Disclosure helped to level the playing field between the retail and institutional investor. It is now time to level the playing field amongst all retail investors.
It is time to remove any and all rules pertaining to accredited investors.
Why is it that you won't let 95% of Americans invest in alternative investments such as hedge funds YET you allow them to 'play the futures markets'??? I submit that it is much more risky to get involved in futures than it is in alternative investments. At least with a hedge fund, the worst you can do is lose 100% of your investment (worst case). With futures, you can bankrupt yourself.
Please bring about an end to the discrimination.
