1. The Hedge Fund industry should be subject to the SAME scrutiny, reporting requirements and rules that the Mutual Fund industry is subject to.
2. Language should be added on the cover page and in LARGE BOLD letters to any offering by a Hedge Fund regarding the MUCH HIGHER risk generally associated with Hedge Fund investments.
3. In addition, any potential investor should be warned verbally (in a standardized presentation) of the HIGH RISK of Hedge Fund investing and be required to sign a document that (s)he has received both written and verbal warnings.
4. Caveat Emptor - Hedge Fund investing should then be open to all investors.
