I have a considerable amount of money, for me, in mutual funds. In fact 54 percent of my portfolio is in mutual funds. Being retired I am counting on my portfolio to fund that retirement. I have always felt that I never knew exactly what my funds cost me. My broker tells me when I purchase a fund that it does not cost me anything to buy, sell or transfer between funds of the same company. However, I know he is not working for nothing, but I dont know how to research this. I am planning on using your mutual fund calculator to try and determine this, so I applaud your effort to shed more light on this subject.
Thank you,
