Requiring the broker to disclose commissions from either the buyer or the fund is a favorable approach for the consumer. Im not sure if the Point of Sale statement gets the information to the consumer who wants to research the commissions in advance before discussing a potential buy with the broker or even choosing a broker in the first place. Is there a way to disclose all of the funds a broker has a monetary affiliation with?
I never liked the NA box in forms. There should be some explanation why the information is not available if this box is checked.
