Phase Two Recommendations of Task Force on Disclosure Simplification

After considering certain of the recommendations contained in the Report of the Task Force on Disclosure Simplification, the Commission now proposes to eliminate two forms and one rule that may no longer be necessary or appropriate for the protection of investors. The Commission also proposes to add one rule, and to amend nine rules and 17 forms in order to eliminate unnecessary requirements and to streamline the disclosure process.
