Jack T. McGinnis

Jack McGinnis is executive vice president and controller of HSBC North America Holdings Inc. (HSBC North America).

Jack is responsible for all aspects of accounting and financial reporting for HSBC North America. Jack is also responsible for Investor Relations in North America. Prior to joining HSBC, Jack was a partner at Ernst & Young LLP.

Jack has specialized in serving large financial services and banking clients, and has significant experience with corporate reporting, corporate and consumer lending, and treasury functions.

Jack holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, public accounting, from Loyola University of Chicago. He is a Certified Public Accountant within the United States and is a Chartered Accountant (Canada).
