Subject: Regarding File Number SR-NYSE-99-47 
Regarding the proposed increase of account margins. May I suggest that this 
more than 12 fold increase will put and undue burden on small investors. A 
more reasonable course would be to double the current margin requirement to 
account for increased market volatility and to increase warnings and 
educational materials for inexperienced investors.
