If preferential treatment is given to Market Maker's orders, you will put a large sector of the market at a disadvantage concerning execution price. This sector which you are excluding has come to rely on ECN's as well as Market Makers for their trades. You will be limiting retirement and pension fund's choice of execution options which will ultimately result in worse prices for these public funds. Please give second thoughts about giving preferential treatment to market makers orders over ECN's orders. The market would become even more fragmented than at present if this passes.
