Dear Mr. Katz:
 
I would like to express my support for the Boston Options Exchange. 
This new exchange benefits the individual investor above all, 
especially given its introduction of the PIP, or price improvement 
period, which gives the investor a chance, for the first time in 
the U.S. options market, to trade against other orders between the 
quotes.
 
I understand that the existing markets wish to protect their turf, 
but the BOX serves the interests of the investing public, and I 
would appreciate your efforts on its behalf.
