Katz, Secretary Securities and Exchange Commission 450 Fifth Street, N.W. Washington, D.C. 20549-0609 Dear Mr. Jonathan G. Katz: I agree with the introduction of the Boston Options Exchange (BOX). Not only is it a purely electronic exchange leading to more efficient transactions, but its unique Price Improvement (PIP) feature will result in lower option spreads, and with that, lower option trading costs for independent traders like myself. Please do all that you can to ensure the prompt and smooth introduction of the BOX to worldwide traders of US options.
