Dear Sirs;

   I am writing to convey my full support of File No. S7-36-02, a proposed
rule that would increase transparency in the proxy voting records of mutual
funds. At a time when many in America are losing faith in corporations in
particular and the market in general, knowing that mutual funds will
honestly report their proxy votes is an important step toward regaining
trust. This proposal will increase accountability, and ultimately integrity.
I urge its passage.
