Dear Sirs:
     
I strongly support proposed regulation FD (Fair Disclosure).  I have long felt 
that the 
way company news is so often released with the current setup is essentially the 
same as 
insider trading.  When the companies only tell a few select analysts and/or 
brokers, who 
then get to profit from the news by telling their big clients before the rest of
the 
general public (i.e. individual investors), there is an obvious problem.
     
The resistance to this proposal that can be heard from Wall Street is not 
because they 
think the flow of information will be restricted, it is just the opposite - 
because they 
fear the flow of information will be expanded, thus depriving them of their 
unfair 
advantage and profits.
     
Thank you for addressing this troubling issue, and please implement this 
proposal.  Thank
