Subject: Proposed Regulation FD

Dear Madams / Sirs:
     
I am writing in support of your proposed rule to make more information 
available to the public.  Companies' ability to selectively disclose 
pertinent information to some sources violates the principle of a free and 
open society which we Americans have fought in wars to preserve.  It is 
important that we have a free flow of information and ideas.
