Subject: Proposed Regulation FD

Dear Chairman Levitt,
     
I am in favor of Proposed Regulation FD and applaud your efforts on behalf 
of the investing public, particularly those who make their own informed 
decisions within the context of a long term buy and hold strategy of 
investing. 
     
The very thought that companies and analysts, at present,  may selectively 
disclose pertinent information, before the public at large has the 
opportunity to receive and assess that information,  is unfair at best and 
detrimental to the market overall.
     
I believe this regulation will assist everyone in their efforts to invest in 
our economy with greater confidence and reduced risk.
