Date: 03/22/2000 9:07 AM Subject: Proposed Regulation FD Dear Mr. Levitt, As an individual's personal/family portfolio continues to grow at a tremendous rate, many of us find that we are managing the worth of a small company. I enjoy the analysis and control over where my money is invested. However, severe stock value fluctuations without any news release or late SEC regulatory disclosure has been unacceptable. I feel it is increasingly important that all public companies disclose information in a timely manner without favortism to institutional investors or power brokers. The favortism must stop and force the analysts & brokers to rely on their research (to earn their commissions) versus taking advantage of the pre-public disclosures that have apparently been taking place. I have read the summaries of the proposed SEC regulations and feel that they are going in the right direction. Please expedite the approval of these changes. Dan Ellsworth
