Subject: Proposed Regulation FD

     Sir;
     
     I am very much in favor of the proposed regulation to eliminate 
     selective disclosure by public companies. Material information is 
     vital to making accurate and informed investment decisions and should 
     be made available in a timely manner to all potential investors.
     
     With the advent and proliferation of new technologies, information is 
     easier than ever to disseminate. There should be no credence placed on 
     claims that this regulation will have a chilling effect on the amount 
     and quality of information released. It is just as easy for the 
     company to release the information on their website or to the SEC as 
     it is for them to release it to a select few.
     
     Individual investors should no longer be treated like the second class 
     citizens of the investment world.
