Date: 01/27/2000 11:34 AM Subject: Proposed regulation FD Please consider this a positive response in favor of any rule change which would remove the unfair advantage that currently inures to those selected parties to whom companies in which I have invested selectively disclose important information which does not become immediately available to an individual investor. This practice, which has been permitted to exist for far too long, disadvantages the public who are investors versus the funds and brokers' analysts who make capital on this practice to the detriment of others who cannot know what has been preferentially learned until later, if at all. In today's electronic world of instant communication, it would not create an unfair burden on any company to disclose any information it chooses widely and instantly. Selective disclosure is unfair; it is responsible for disorderly markets; it should be unlawful. Jerome Coppersmith
