Date: 12/17/1999 12:30 PM Subject: Proposed Regulation FD Dear Chairman Levitt, As an individual investor, I wanted to voice my support for your pending Fair Disclosure regulation. I completely agree that the selective disclosure of company information to a hand-picked group of analysts and institutional investors is contrary to the very ideal of a 'free-market' environment. I applaud the efforts of the SEC to bring about equilibrium between all 'owners' of a company, and not just those trading huge amounts of shares. Is the SEC going to make public all of the comments to the ruling? Perhaps a 'preamble' to the final ruling would be an interesting piece of information to see how the industry feels about this proposal. Thank you again for remembering us little guys!
