Subject: comments to proposed regulation FD

Dear Sir or Madam,
     
    I would like to make my opinion known on the proposed regulation
that requires companies to disclose information to the entire public, as 
opposed to selective disclosure.  I am all for it.  As a private 
investor I am frequently seeing moves in the market with no
information.  That information usually comes a few days later.  When the 
stock euphoria ends there will be several people, like me, who will not 
be able to sucessfully invest in a more difficult market.  Leveling the 
playing field, which this regulation would take great strides in doing, 
would help.  I commend you on having the courage to propose such a
rule.  Now please follow through and make it the law.
