Subject: File No.S7-25-97 Author: John Grigsby Date: 12/4/97 2:27 AM Dear Chairman Leavitt: As an individual shareholder in several U.S. corporations, I oppose the current proposals to limit my rights by automatically blocking or qualifying shareholder resolutions -- if I am not allowed to propose a resolution, how else could I contact enough other individuals to make the 3% limit? These rules would make shareholder ownership even more of a farce than it already is. Thank you, John Grigsby
