RE: Proposed SHO rules. To whom it may concern, I support the proposed SHO rules in regards to naked shorting of stocks. I would however like to see stiffer penalties for those that break the new rules. Often times it seems that crime on wallstreet DOES pay and that the small fines or penalties imposed on illegal activity just becomes the cost of doing business. Why has this type of activity been allowed to go on for so long? Where have the people been to police this issue? Why are you trying to put new rules into place? Why not enforce the rules on the books today? Please put an end to this abuse of counterfieting shares. It is ruining companies and stealing from the general public. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Protect your identity with Yahoo!
