Today's method of electing Board of Director members is a sham; board members nominating their friends who will continue the same shabby practices that past boards of directors have allowed. We need a way for "stock holders" to elect board members that will oversee and promote good corporate governance. We should be promoting representative democracy in business as well as in government. I want a real vote to elect someone to represent my interests! A real vote means a choice (more than one person per vacancy) and a way for stockholders to have input in the nomination process.
