Headlines of the past few years underscore the need for responsive and responsible governance. By definition the directors are supposed to represent the interests of the true owners of the corporation, and the new proposal encourages this idea. It is totally contrary for a board to serve at the pleasure of themselves, a select few, or the very executive officers they are elected to supervise. Mike Hall Mesa, AZ
