Dear SEC,

Please pass the rule allowing shareholders to place candidates on the ballot for board of director positions. This rule has the potential to be the first step in giving shareholders a say in the corporations they own. In addition to passing this rule, I recommend you pass a rule banning company executives from also sitting on the board of directors of the companies that employ them. The excesses at Enron, Tyco, Worldcom and others are all occurred because we lack a system of checks and balances. These changes are desperately needed.
