I am also a member of the National Association of Investment Corporation (NAIC). I am very interested in transparency in the world of corporate governance. I am disgusted by the scandals at Tyco, Enron, et al. Although your proposals do not go far enough to suit me, they are a beginning. Please do not allow the special interests to water down your proposal for modest reform. (I am not writing on behalf of Allstate Insurance, where I work, but only as a private citizen.) Thank you.
