-EXTENSION ON SUMMISSION OF COMMENT PERIOD
I am hereby requesting an extension to the comment period that is due to be ending today. I feel that the proposed regulations are too RADICAL to NOT allow for sufficient response time. Many of us in the financial services industry are working diligently with people just like you to prepare for tax filings, extentions, last minute retirement contributions,etc. As we provide this service as we do every year, I find it disturbing to have these point of sale regulations enacted in such a hasty manner without thoroughly consulting with the very people that it will affect the most. In the name of common sense, please extend this until AFTER APRIL 15th. Your response would be appreciated.
